Audit terms
FeedOps Google Shopping Feed Audit Terms
By using the FeedOps Google Shopping Feed Audit, you agree to these terms.
Free audit and availability
- The audit is currently provided free of charge.
- FeedOps may change, limit, suspend, or stop the audit service at any time.
- This may include changes to pricing, usage limits, access limits, available reports, or eligibility.
- At present, users may run multiple audits, but FeedOps may introduce limits in the future.
Google Merchant Center access
To run the audit, you must connect a Google Merchant Center account. You are responsible for granting the correct level of access.
If you grant FeedOps standard access with permission to read reports, FeedOps employees will not be able to log in to your Merchant Center account directly. FeedOps will only read available data through Google's API for the purpose of generating the audit.
Read-only and audit-only
- The audit connection is read-only and audit-only.
- FeedOps cannot make changes to your Google Merchant Center account, product data, product feed, website, ecommerce platform, advertising account, campaigns, budgets, bids, targeting, or account settings through the free audit tool.
- The free audit only reviews available Google Merchant Center data and related reporting data that your access permissions allow FeedOps to read through Google's API.
- FeedOps does not update, edit, delete, submit, approve, pause, or otherwise manage any product data, listings, ads, campaigns, or account settings as part of the free audit.
Paid FeedOps services
If you want FeedOps to make product feed changes, optimise product data, manage feed settings, or support any implementation work, you will need to upgrade to a paid FeedOps service. Any paid service will be subject to separate commercial terms and must be arranged with FeedOps sales.
Audit results and reliance
- The audit results are provided for general information only.
- FeedOps does not guarantee that the audit is complete, accurate, current, or suitable for your business.
- You must review the results yourself and make your own judgement before taking any action.
- You should not rely on the audit as professional, commercial, legal, financial, advertising, or compliance advice.
Responsibility and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FeedOps is not responsible for any loss, damage, cost, claim, missed opportunity, account issue, platform issue, product disapproval, advertising result, or business decision connected to your use of the audit or reliance on its results.
You remain responsible for your Google Merchant Center account, product data, feed settings, advertising accounts, website, ecommerce platform, and any changes you choose to make after reviewing the audit.
Aggregated audit information
FeedOps may use aggregated and non-identifying audit information to improve the audit tool, reporting, product features, and related services. FeedOps will handle any personal information in line with its privacy practices and applicable laws.
Authority to accept these terms
By continuing, you confirm that you are authorised to connect the relevant Google Merchant Center account and that you accept these terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent.
